We have lots of games on the GameByte Shop. Hopefully, it can deliver a fun alternative to EA’s behemoth whilst making a modern football game accessible to more people. It’s unlikely it’ll beat FIFA 22 but it doesn’t feel like it’s trying to. With it featuring only a fraction of the teams we’re used to seeing in licensed football games though it will not be for those that want to recreate the season as it happens. For PC Steam the price will vary depends on the region.

The demo only has a limited number of teams available to play (Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Barcelona), each with a squad of 22 players. The eFootball 2022 Premium Player Pack is available to pre-order now for PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series XS, Xbox One, Windows 10 at 39.99 RRP. So we should expect bugs, crashes, errors and more. As long as it doesn’t become pay-to-win it could be an ideal game for those that want a football game they can play a few games of every now and then. Konami has officially renamed the Pro Evolution Soccer series eFootball, and it will become a digital-only, free-to-play game coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S. We can say that the PES 2022 Demo indicates that the game is still in early development.
The matches looked nice and it looks like it would be fun to play with a big focus on defence and attack. Due to the preview not being hands-on I had to go with the gameplay I was shown.
It’s tough to judge a free-to-play game before it’s live.
